Polyacrylamide is white powder or granule, insoluble in benzene, toluene xylene gasoline kerosene, diesel oil, but water soluble polyacrylamide with alkali reaction, partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide, under the strong acidity (pH ≤2.5) produce imidization, reduce its solubility in water.
